Teruaki Yuiga (唯我 輝明, Yuiga Teruaki) was the late father of Nariyuki.

According to Nariyuki, his father was kind and always encouraged him to improve from poor academic results.
History[]
Teruaki Yuiga is the father of Nariyuki, Mizuki, Hazuki, and Kazuki.
He was a friend of Soujiro Kominami. It was later revealed that Teruaki asked Soujiro to do his surgery, but was declined due to not having the proper equipment. Teruaki did not survive the surgery from the hospital he was referred to, and so Soujiro blamed himself for his death for many years. This even causes his daughter, Asumi Kominami, to distance himself from Yuiga due to guilt.
He died just before Nariyuki enrolled in middle school, 5 years before the story starts. After his death, Nariyuki was left to take care of his family, and is later seen comforting Mizuki after she could not come to terms with their father's death.
He was Mafuyu's teacher when she went to school, and cared for her well-being quite a lot. He always went out of her way to give her advice and look out for her, knowing she suffered from social isolation. Mafuyu was later seen crying at Teruaki's funeral, showing how deeply she cared for him.
He was quite the admirable man, bringing together everyone he interacted with. Yuiga mentioned to Fumino that his father was a strange man, who even lulled the hearts of delinquents. They would also be later seen attending Teruaki's funeral.

Etymology[]
- The name Teruaki means "brightness, radiance, shine, sparkle, gleam, twinkle" (輝) (teru) and "bright, light, clear" (明) (aki).
- Teruaki's surname Yuiga means "solitary" (唯我).
